Strawberry Shortcake Cake

I made this cake last week for a friend's birthday. It was amazing! It was everything you'd want in a strawberries & cream cake. Creamy frosting, strawberry soaked cake, more frosting and the cake it's self was perfection. My inspiration and the recipe for this scrumptious cake was found at http://www.thepioneerwoman.com/ . Browsing her website makes me hungry, so, I don't do it often. When I do though it's something quite wonderful. Enjoy!
