Yesterday was an incredible day in my life as a stay at home mom. I am "mommy" to 2 year old twin boys who are so energetic and excited about life. Their enthusiasm often distracts them but yesterday a miracle happened. It was raining outside and I was explaining, like I have so many other times, that it's raining and wet outside while pointing out the window. They both stopped what they were doing and looked out the window with me. I was overwhelmed by this small thing of them paying attention to what I was pointing out. I know it was just rain but I've waited for this for some time now. Simple things fill me with joy! I am beyond proud of my little boys, such sweet little boys they are too!
